Izel Maras is a product designer specializing in branded interface design, Figma design systems, interactive prototypes, and interaction design. She is currently acting as Head of Design at Roon, a Sequoia capital-backed healthcare start-up on a mission to democratize health information on the internet. 

She also co-founded Desen Studio, a design studio founded between New York and Istanbul specializing in AI-generated crochet and handmade design objects.

Izel is passionate about illustrating, graphic design, prototyping, and coded motion. 

Izel's approach to interface design blends the Swiss design aesthetic with a playful spirit. She crafts interfaces that promote empathy, comfort, and a lively color palette, inviting users into a warm digital world.
